Australia

Without a doubt my favourite Continent is Australia, and it has been a pleasure for me to drive along the EAST and WEST coast of this magnificent continent being able to share it with my kids.

NOOSA (East Australia)

Noosa was a top destination for the family. Kite surfing, surf or fishing are the top star activities in this charming holiday town. It is just a two hours drive north from Brisbane.

If you love surfing you have vast choices. Noosa is famous for its beaches! From calm beaches to breaks around the National Park and faster waves from Sunshine to Peregian.

Noosa National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Australia, with one of the most beautiful coastal scenic walks with a great network of forest tracks and trails, suitable for trekking, hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.

Noosaville is embraced by a peaceful atmosphere but with a seriously hip food lifestyle along a picturesque scene of picnic heaven with river views that never tire.

PERTH & Rothnest Island

A destination difficult to describe, it is so magical that you need to see it with your own eyes. A magical place was Rothnest Island, were only bikes are allowed, 45 min away from Perth by Ferry.

You would cross all kind of cute animals and they won’t be afraid of humans.

Baselton

A must stop is Baselton with the longest wooden yeti In the world. Their white beaches along the coast are just stunning, the food and their people simple, and the light of their skies has another intensity…

Margaret River / West Australia

The wineries of Margaret River are breathtaking, we drove along the Coast taking Highway 1 from Fremantle.

Fremantle offers you quite a few interesting visits to do with kids. You have the cultural center in town offering always open life music concerts and many activities for children. If you are brave you can step in the dungeons of the famous prison of Fremantle or just have a bite in the old Market just opposite, very lively and with organic food posts.

Margaret River is not only about wine, many other manufacturers are installed there, making their own Olive oil, or chocolate manufacturers like Gabriel Chocolates. We drove around discovering interesting hidden farmers, we saw shearers, but instead of sharing the sheep, that is a hard job, we ended up milking the cows with them, we also took a fun workshop with essential oils for natural perfumery making ( not easy at all) in Vasse Virgin. One of the producers of Olive Oil skin care in Margaret River.

The West Coast is one of the most popular spots in Australia for surfing, even there is white sharks around… Australians seem not to be bordered by it!
